Hi list, I have this problem that is happening, but I am not quite sure how to describe it. I have had this problem since I got the car, and I have not been able to put my finger on what is causing it. Over the last week I have done a tune up and then performed some 'scientific tests' on it. What happens is, at 1900-2000rpm (about 30mph in 3rd gear) driving along at that constant speed, the car sort of 'shudders'. It doesn't matter if I am driving up hill or down hill or on level road, but it still does it. Also the engine / gearbox makes a sort of chugging noise while it is going along. If I increase or decrease the speed it drives fine. I am not sure if it is engine or gearbox related, it almost seems like it is misfiring, but it is quite constant. I know my description isn't the best, but hopefully someone might recognise those symptoms?
