Getting ready to order parts would like some opinions. If you can keep the lifters in exactly the same positions you can probably reuse them, but I never do. New lifters are also something that you can easily get burned on, as there are more bad ones than good ones out there. In general there are only 2 places that you can be ASSURED of getting decent lifters: VW dealers or Gene Berg. I just order a set whenever I send in a set of parts for machine work. New lifters are convex on the working end, so they will rock slightly if pressed face to face. Used ones are always worn concave. - ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe? mailto:type3-request@vwtype3.org, Subject: unsubscribe
