<x-charset iso-8859-1> You're describing my car, so I suppose this may have been tried on my car by somebody in the past. I am missing a hose from the fan housing duct to the air cleaner, but it looks like that may have been what the car once had. As I have never run the engine for more than a few minutes at a time, I have assumed up to now that overheating was not going to be a problem (I hope), but I was certainly wondering what to do about it. So, would it be a good idea simply to connect the fan housing duct to the air cleaner? there's a strong stream of cool air coming out of it that's just going to waste a the moment. My cooling system (and exhaust I think) has been hacked about quite a bit, so some reconstruction is obviously going to be necessary.
