Sounds reasonable enough.  The reason I asked is that the only difference
between A2 Golf (non-vented) and GTI (vented) front rotors are the rotors (a
little thicker for the venting) and the pads (a little thinner to make up
for the rotor thickness.)  I was wondering if this Type 3 setup was the same
way.
