The gauge read 395 when they went up to 700 deg I think Berg's bad opinion was strictly against the various temp gauges on the market. I would expect the pressure gauges to be more reliable. Temp is a little harder to read remotely. As to Toby's remarks, I assume that Berg's remarks were directed toward the temp gauges available in the normal retail market.
