<x-charset iso-8859-1>Well, I'm almost done with chapter 1 of the Notchback Diary. I've stripped everything that wasn't welded to the Notch, pulled the engine and set it on the handy-dandy homemade cradle- with wheels, no less, pushed it into the garage. Now, I have to line up the car carrier to take her down to the body shop on, hopefully for tomorrow if the T-3 powers that be have pity on me. The next chapter consists of having the body work done, then redoing the engine and the final chapter, "Reassembling the whole mess". I have a very impressive do-it-yourself Notchback kit in my garage; seats, engine, interior and exterior trim, lighting, the problem is, I seemed to have misplaced the instructions for putting it back together somewhere (yeah, I *wish* there were instructions). We'll see how the next few days go. David Walters '73 1600 L Notchback S. FL, USA ------------------------------------------------------------------- Search old messages on the Web!
