> One more thing, could this also be an incorrectly adjusted Throttle > Valve Switch? The Bentley calls this, after 70 model switch, "one fo > the most important sensors" because it controls the "full load mixture > enrichment functions". I know I am just quoting but it seems fairly > improtant. Well here's an update. This temp sensor issue was baffling me, I started from scratch. I took it out for a run to warm things up. I then connected the Air Temp sensor, set the dwell, idle, timing. BTW, Jim, I pulled the dist and checked the mech. Advance and it came back position without a problem, so that is fine. I double checked the Vacuum Advance and it was also good. After setting everything to spec (temp sensor connected). I took it out for a drive. The was not hesitation! It ran great. There was a small difference in power, the peddle was not quite as responsive, but not drastically. I could not make sense of it. Then, this morning I decided to try it out from stone cold. Ah, there is that hesitation. For the first 3 minutes of driving in 1st and 2nd there is a slight hesitation but then it evens out after the car warms up (it was about 50 this morning). So, I think what I was attributing to the temp sensor was just a lean running condition while the engine is cold. I apologize that this issue has become so convoluted. I think that the major issue came from my dirty trigger contacts and low fuel pressure. Cause now she is running great, I even took her on the 1/2 hour drive to work this morning ;). Thanks to everyone, especially Jim, Keith and, Mark for all the great ideas and help in ferreting out this problem. Everythings well.............for now ;). My wife and kids will be happy to see me again, even if I'm just driving by ;).
