Don't make the mistake of assuming that ANY of the internal parts in these
are more than similar to the ones you want. I think the diaphrams are all the
same, but each one has 2 different adjustments. Then the moving
transformer cores are all turned to different dimensions (think of it as jetting,
but in more dimensions.)

I'm all in favor of experimentation, but if you're trying to cure a PROBLEM,
then throwing random assortments of parts at it in the hope that something
will fix something is an almost pointless waste of time and money.

Get it working right the OEM way first. THEN experiment. Otherwise your
experiments mean nothing.

For example: I've got a car that gives poor power and poor gas mileage so I
decide I'll make it better by tinkering with the PS. No amount of tinkering will
help if the problem was with a tracked SP insulator, a clogged injector, an
advance mechanism that didn't, or low system voltage that kept the choke
on.

Before you experiment, you really have to have a sound, well running
platform to stand on, otherwise everything you do is meaningless and a
waste of your time. In other words, you MUST find the PROBLEM.

Sorry for the rant.
