Welcome John, 

We get this question a lot. The simple answer is NO. It won't work. The type 
1 engine will burn up in there. The cooling air flow system is completely 
different.

That said, I should emphasize that there are still LOTs of common parts and 
much of the operation is similar, but you should get yourself a Bentley type 3 
manual.
