Hello! I'm just new to the list, I don't quite own a type 3 yet... but hopefully this Saturday I will! A friend of mine brought a Variant to get the engine and trans out of, but realised this thing was absolutley rust free! It's a Squareback, 72 4 manual trans. Panels are off, and there is almost no rust or bondo! amazing. I'm in New Zealand (is any one else here from NZ?) and have 3 beetles... kind of. One 58, one 66 and a 70 "Fonzie" it's kinda like a vandetta from the US, a beetle with a wagon back on it. Hopefully I'll pick up the Variant on Saturday If Darron likes my 66 enough to swap it! So I thought I'd hang out here for a while to see what I can find out... Like can I mount a radiator somewhere :-o I just happen to have no type3 engines sittings around, but I do have a Subaru impreza engine all set up for a VW :-) Anyway, Just thought I'd give myself a little intro :-) Allan Williams :-) ------------------------------------------------------------------- Too much?
