Toss out the removable piece, then that hole becomes the air exit. Then cut an opening below the bumper but above the rabbit/golf chin spoiler that you will mount to direct air into the radiator. These rad assemblies have thermostatically controlled fans on them and is a great fit, plus they are aluminum. This is how a friend of mine put the water cooling in his wasser powered notch, a feature car in HVWs around late 93/early 94. I may still have some pix of it somewhere.
