Re: [T3] Vapor Lock?
<x-flowed>I hate to make wild guesses on stuff like this, but..
Maybe there is a potential for a temperature-dependent tendency for the head
temp sensor (or something in that circuit) to open intermittently. Do you
have a spare to try? (Don't try this at home, kids, unless your regular
tune-up items are all up to spec.)
I have recently read somewhere that vapor lock can happen due to a faulty
pressure regulator. The regulator doesnt hold the pressure in the lines,
all the fuel drains out of the lines in the engine, and...bam your vapor
locked.
But turn the key off and on a few times to build up pressure, and the system
is full of fuel, with any air being forced out of the lines by the 30psi of
pressure. I don't think vapor lock is possible with the FI.
