It's true...  Black Gold is more about collectibles than they are VW's as
far as the store space goes. They are still pretty helpful though.

Again, since the cleaning process takes a day, the seal takes 72 hours
minimum to cure...  The car can't be off of the road that long, so I will
need to find a second tank.

Check with some of your local radatior shops. They could clean it, patch any
holes,, then you could seal it. They all may not want to do it, but one of
them
will. It should take them anymore time than a radatior, 1 day... You have a
lot
of shops up there. Give Tim's German Auto a call and see if they can point
you
to some one who does that. Also Automotice Machine in DFW area.  Black Gold
too,
but I have heard they have turned to more of a toy store...
