<x-charset iso-8859-1>Yeah it's kinda weird, a few years ago Squarebacks were the most common, then Fastbacks followed by Notches and then T34's. At the Volksworld Show the exact opposite was almost true! Still, in the world of Fashion what comes around goes around. A good show overall, I do think the Fiat deserved best of show, the 500 and 600 both looked like they would be extremely fun to drive. :-) cheers, Dan '73 Fastback ---- -----Original Message----- From: Dave Hall [mailto:dave@hallvw.clara.co.uk] Sent: Tuesday, March 26, 2002 3:02 AM To: type3 @ vwtype3.org Subject: Re: [T3] Quick report on the Volksworld Show > Well, what a lovely weekend weather wise here in the UK. > > The weather brought out some really nice cars, The car park was full on > Sunday, (although not many type3's) I reckon I saw about 23 Type 3s plus at least 4 T34 Ghias. There were 5 in the For Sale area, at least 7 in the general car parks (I didn't get up to one of the large parks but saw the odd Type 3 from afar), 9 in the clubs area (including 4 Ghias), and 6 in the halls. I have photos of 18 of them which I'll put up in a day or so. I'd guess Squarebacks were the least common - or maybe there was one more than the Type 34s. Obviously it's not cool to have one at the moment. Dave.
