<x-charset iso-8859-1>I have my broken kick down switch solved. After some research I found a switch that would do the job at $39.95, a throttle switch for a Audi, Jetta, etc. The price was way too high so I paid a visit to our local self serve wrecking yard. I found the switch on a Audi (not sure of the model) on the intake manifold, and better yet, the place was closing and I got it for free. Now it down shifts like a charm.
