Inside scrapers These are easy Get type 2 scrapers from Cal Import Parts. Remove the wire clips form the old scraper. Put them on the new scraper . This will require cutting some new holes in the scrapers. When installing, the wire clips may be difficult to push through the holes. Once the clip is started in the hole reach inside the door and insert an ice pick in the wire loop and pull it through from the back. This is much easier than pushing. Outside Scrapers. I bought the trim pieces from Cal Import Parts. They won, fit They are to tall to fit in the top of the window. I shortened the trim by cutting out a section. This worked O.K. but the trim really didn't fit like the original. I think if someone was really skilled they could do this. I took the old scrapers off my original trim by carefully drilling out the rivets. I then polished the trim and it looked good. Be careful not to bend the trim. I took the new scrapers off the new trim. [ I think a bus scraper would work.} I pop riveted the new scrapers onto the old trim. I can't remember which side I reveted from. You can figuer this out. IMPORTANT THE RIVETS ARE TO THICK AND MUST BE HAMMERED DOWN WITH A PUNCH. I used a large hammer as an anvil to pound against. Be careful when you do this. Use a wide punch not a pointed one. I actually used a large nail set. If you have more questions please e-mail me Robbie Hattaway Milledgeville Ga.
