I like the early body style, too, but if you can find a complete set of 4 good 
early fenders then you would probably be better off just taking the whole car 
and fixing up a legitimate early model.

Besides, as others have said, the early front fenders really don't fit the late 
body while I'm not so sure about the rears.

Just trying to swap the turn signal housings would be a lot of work as the 
fender openings are COMPLETELY different, both front and rear.
