RE: [T3] Forging ahead with short block

<x-charset windows-1252>I, too, was disappointed with the lack of prices on the Gene Berg website. However, I did send them an e-mail asking for prices and received a reply in less than 24 hours. For everyone's information, here is their reply. This is less than two weeks old so the prices should still be current.

Mr. Jaranson, Thank you for your parts inquiry request. The prices are as
follows:

New Lifters GB325W
New Part Number GB 325M (Mahle) $62.35
Intake Valves GB353 $4.11 each
Exhaust Valves GB352 $8.27 each
Valve Guides GB371 $2.34 each
T3 Full Flow Kit GB248A w/ Neoprene Hoses $96.67
Engine Balancing LB BAL002 $149.55
*CW My Crank Could not find a part number LA CRANK001$181.17

*We will only counterweight customer's cranks when we do a production run so
I would not be able to give you a delivery date. Also, this labor must be
done to a genuine VW forged (not cast) crankshaft. If you have a genuine VW
forged crankshaft which is standard/standard on the journal sizes and does
not have any burnt journals we can use your crank as an exchange. The part
number would be GB 188 $243.36.

Shipping charges are additional.

Sincerely,
GENE BERG ENTERPRISES
