<x-charset iso-8859-1>what are some trouble shooting tips for ignition switch itself? Or do I have the pleasure of pulling it out of the column and replacing it? Also since my car hasn't been started in a while, is there a way to bypass the ignition switch at least to just get it going? I guess "hotwiring" it? -----Original Message----- From: Jim Adney To: type3@vwtype3.org Sent: 3/3/02 11:06 AM Subject: RE: [T3] Help...it wont start On 3 Mar 2002, at 10:58, Tom Falcone wrote: > Thanks for the immediate response. This most likely means that the problem is a bad connection either IN the ignition switch, or in the current track that feeds the starter. The fact that the light stays on somewhat eliminates the battery itself as the culprit, although you should probably make sure it is fully charged anyway. - ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ------------------------------------------------------------------- Search old messages on the Web!
