Check the resistance of the dist rotor too. It shouldn't be much over
5000 ohms.
I have a spare 311 905 205 E dist. It is supposed to be for a '65 single
carb engine.

Or--- you could sell me the car for $100 and I would title it here in
Iowa. :=)
