<x-flowed>thanks for the previous info, where can i get 3M weatherstriping adhesive. 
and is there something i can use to remove the old glue without harming the 
finish around the trunks?

has any one purchased WCM trunk seals, they sell the same one for fastback 
trunk and hood for my year (1970) but it seems to wide for the track if i 
cut off the smaller lip it look as if it will fit correctly, but it is foam 
rubber. will it turn into a sponge if i do this?
