Somebody has had the clock out in the past, and hooked up the +12V live to the ground lug and the ground to the +12V lug. Both the wire going to the headlight switch and ground wire were fried, so I would say that is one of the reasons the clock wasn't working. ;-) I also took the clock apart and there is a piece of wire that doesn't look like it should be there. If I hold the clock face down, with 12 o'clock pointing away from me, on the right side of the large solenoid there is a copper piece and a brass piece with holes in them. The copper is wrapped though here. Are the two supposed to be soldered together? Where is the fuse that the sticker on the back talks about?
