Re: [T3] a good old-fashioned mystery problem.


<x-charset iso-8859-1>Look closely at the fuel filter and check the fuel tank screen for trash.  I
had VERY similar problems after a fresh rebuild and it was trash in the fuel
system that was sporatically clogging the fuel filter.

While driving on the incline, you probably could have shifted some trash in
the tank.

As for the points, hmmm... I'll let an expert answer that. Its been my
experience though that a car running lean can burn the points though if
there's no fuel to burn in the cylinders.
