[T3] custom cooling...
<x-flowed>well, after some 'lo-buck' air flow testing (ribbon taped to the intake
area), i found that my scoop on the notch is not pulling in enough
air... so, i just got done putting my new cooling system on the notch.
$14 and 1 hour of time! being that i have type 1 engine surround, and
then a large apron around that, i just ran a 4" ram air system from
under the car to the engine bay-upper. i can tell you that it already
works! engine temps are down 15F from this this daytime temp yesterday
morning! even though air from under the car is warmer than above the
car, i am no getting positive air flow to the upper engine bay, where as
before the fan was having to pull in any air it used. we will see on
the next 95F day what the overall set up is doing, but at least i know
it is doing something...
