Fuel injection systems don't automatically increase horsepower because they are injected, but do increase the fuel system's efficiency... a side effect that can result in more horsepower. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that FI can't do horsepower, just that the principle of the system doesn't automatically equate to more power.
