I suspect that one of your horn wires has rubbed its insulation off and is sitting close to shorting out, which would sound the horn. When the car decelerates HARD that wire is pushed over against the ground and the horn sounds. A more common problem is the electrical transient which occurs when the brake lights come on. This transient can cause the turn signal relay on some years to click once, but it usually doesn't cause any of the lights to come on. - ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ------------------------------------------------------------------- Too much?
