general diagram.

Since you're working on a 68-69 system, let me suggest that you make sure 
you use a "B" brain rather than the "A" (in case you have a '68).  If your 
car is a 69, you should already have the B brain.

As for the head temp sensor, you'll want to tap it at a location where your 
engine cylinder tin will allow.  Doesn't your tin have a hole for access to 
the sensor you used to have (before the carbs)?
