Re: [T3] 010 dizzy

<x-charset iso-8859-1>Todd=> Any suggestions on where to buy an 010,
=> or how much it costs?

They come up maybe every other week on Ebay, priced depending on condition
up to around $100.

=> It sounds like a good balance of driveability
=> and maintainability, especially if I can convert it
=> to solid-state ignition eventually.

The relative rarity of the 010 carries some issues to consider. For
example, 010 point sets and condensers are not carried in stock by most
suppliers -- there are sources, but you have to dig. As for electronic
ignition, I guess something like a Jacobs setup would work, but you won't
find electronic points to fit the 010. And someone please correct me if I'm
off base here, but doesn't an electronic ignition brain like the Jacobs make
the advance curve of the particular distributor more or less irrelevant?
