Re: [T3] Loud fuel pump and heat sensors.

So I did an idle pressure test and it turned up 30 psi with no vacillation.
Now, I hear the pump the most at idle, so I'd presume that if this noise
were a low pressure problem, I'd see it at idle.

The pump is properly mounted to its rubber mounting brackets.

Don't know why this loudness now though, I had my steering damper replaced
when the front end alignment was done (it was shot), so I thought maybe the
guys futzed with the fuel pump and did something wrong, but everything
checks out. (BTW I finally found a good VW mechanic who was really willing
to talk with me about the front end alignment. )

I can only hear it at idle through 2nd gear, so maybe its just my lack of
carpeting.

I did get really good mileage (28 mpg) on this trip, though...
