First off, I hung the ground strap on the upper clamp bolt, but, I found some pics in Bentley that show that the bolt needs to be pulled out to properly connect it. Can I just pull this uppper bolt on the axle beam clamp?? Do I need to jack the axlebeam first? Or what size is the bolt. the manual doesn't say... Regardless, the ground wire, connected or unconnected, has no effect on the horn when the ignition is on. In fact, the ground wire for this horn seems to run through the wiring harness along the left side (front is front) of the front trunk. - -- Mike Wodkowski 72 FI SQBK Brooklyn wodkowski@mac.com ------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <type3-off@vwtype3.org> For more help, see http://vwtype3.org/list/
