<x-charset iso-8859-1>> and sometimes when I am parking, i get a sound like the tires are rubbing > against the sheet metal, but they cant be. they are stock tires and rims, > and it is at stock height. In reverse you may get the tyres rubbing the body; wear on the steering knuckle lets the wheel move too close. It won't happen going forward with stock tyres, but you may get that graunchy noise, which is the knuckle rubbing on the stop. Check tyres go round evenly and the bearings are adjusted correctly; check the track-rod ends are not worn, check the steering adjustment (both the big hexagon socket screw on the bottom front of the box and the lock-nut and screw on top. Use the manual to do it right. Ball-joints could also be the problem, as can a loose stabilizer bar (in the top axle tube). Camber on the rear tyres is most likely tired torsion bars (or lowered suspension). Dave.
