<x-charset iso-8859-1>WOW... ME with an answer to a carb question! I noticed that with the stock solex's that there is no adjustment to the throw of the accelerator pump... making it impossible to compensate for too much of a change in engine build, has anyone come up with a way around this?? However... I had a very small stumble on hitting the throttle after shifting and a hesitation at times coming off idle... this seemed markedly improved if not eliminated when I finally put the stock air cleaner back on instead of those rediculous foamy things. I thought I wasnt rich enough but now im thinking that it was indeed too rich. And BTW... where did the term "dialing in the carbs" come from anyway?? what "Dial" could this being referring to??
