Re: [T3] Tucking wheels

<x-flowed>Thorhild,
Thanks. I knew that lowering tucked the tops but I am trying to avoid the slanting of the wheels that you see on a lot of bugs. When you bent out the rear fenders, did your wheels fit inside the wells? So if you lowered it a little they went into the wells?
Also, any info on tucking in the front wheels? With the fronts on they stick out even more since the nose narrows slightly. Do have any pics I can see of your wheels fitting in?
Does anybody have any other suggestions?

Well this is how i got my big fat 205/60's on middle/late riverias to fit.

I bent the up the lip on the wheel well so that it wasn't perpinducular to
the the wheel anymore. Once it was bolted back on my car I grabbed teh
centrer of teh wheel opening and gave it a a pull. Not my best body work but
it worked. I did figure out why on side fit whil teh other was rubbing. I
took a closer look at my rear fenders and the right side was bulged out! So
i bulged out the other side.

Depending on your style, lowering will tuck your wheels in too. BUT only the
tops! I tried that aproach. it was so low i couldn't get my jack under the
spring plates unless i pushed up on the car first.
