It might help to have 2 people. Go for a drive to warm up everything then come home and leave the engine running. Lift the back seat and, with the voltmeter set on DC volts, put the 2 proble across the battery. Rev the engine to medium RPMs and hold it steady while you read the meter. The reading should be 14.1-14.4V. If it is less than 13.5V replace the voltage regulator with a genuine Bosch. > Why would operating temperature be factor though?????? Low system voltage will make the FI run rich.
