Well, I'm off to Canada. Thanks for the advice everyone. Went back to the brake reservoir yesterday to try to top it off. It was still uneven. As I trickled in brake fluid, the screen at the neck of the reservoir popped up and the fluid rushed into the chambers. Well, well... Now I feel like a REAL jackass. So, I pulled the screen up and filled the reservoir completely full, both sides, in no time flat, rebled the brakes, and now everything is great. Straight braking, all four operating, I feel safe and steadier than ever for the trip!
