    I'm sure this will work, but is there anything more astheticaly
pleasing?  Go to your Home Depot and look for some type of long chrome
angle iron or bar, like maybe a shower curtain rod?   How strong is
the stock rack, you might be able to clamp it on.  If your using a
fork mount, there is no load on the rear wheel attachment.  Place the
front mount such that the wheelbase places the rear wheel right on the
rear crossbar, and bungie it.
    We will probably bring Maddies bike to keep him from going stir
crazy.  Hopefully the caravan will have our back, as far as emergency
transport.
