Just replace the main front to rear line. This is enough pain. This area is 
vulnerable to rust from water/snow/salt from your feet and is often the first 
thing to fail.

Make sure that the mech advance in the distributor is working smoothly. You 
might also check the vacuum line to the vacuum modulator and make sure it 
is not filled with ATF from a leaky VM.
