Re: [T3] Rough or no idle when cold

<x-flowed>>Please don't say "pull it out and inspect it" that won't help
me....................

Then ask somebody else to do it. You have to look at the injector. There's a good procedure in Bentley. You will pull them out in pairs. You'll need a small ratchet handle, 10mm socket and a universal joint. There are two nuts holding each injector pair. I find it to be a tight squeeze to get at those nuts, but not any worse than removing spark plugs on a dual carb car. Get both pairs out, leaving the fuel loop intact.

Once you have them out you can pressurize the system with the key off/on routine and look for drips at the injector ends. Bentley tells the allowable drip rate (I forget). You may find at least one injector that pees.

You will want to test spray pattern next. Disconnect the green condensor wire and have somebody crank the starter as if trying to start. Hold each injector pair over a wide-mouth mason jar and watch the spray patterns. You want to see nice conical shapes of misty gasoline. Might be nice to have a third helper to hold the mason jar for the injector pair you're not looking at.

While you have them out, make sure the injectors are all the correct Bosch yellow ones.

Have you measured your fuel pressure yet?
