Re: [T3] I definitely hate FI!

<x-flowed>I just had something very similar happen to me after taking my engine out and putting it back in on the 4th. Turns out the 3-wire connector for the FI points on the distributor had come apart. 2 of the wires had worn enough to break loose from the connectors mostly. The car was acting like it was missing a little while cruising at 60mph. I was afraid something was wrong with the auto trans catching or something horrible like that, because I had just adjusted the bands. Anyhoo, I wiggled those wires while idling and the engine missed, so I jammed some pins into the connector to temporarily hold the wires in until I could solder them. I'm sure your problem is different, because they always are, but maybe somehow this will help. Maybe I just like seeing my name on the list. :)
