>So, I cleaned all the connections I could get to. She purred. She was a teenager again romping through the streets. For 30 >miles. Two miles from home she starts missing and coughing and reaching for her walker. This moring she sputtered and >farted for three blocks. Is this a condensor issue? Coil? She got a new brain in "98 from her second owner. What can I do >next? I think every person on this list, beside Jim, Russ, etc, has asked this same question. Here are some things I have been told to check, when I had the problem: 1. Fuel tank and fuel lines. Rust and debris in the tank and lines will clogged the injectors and cause this problem. 2. Injectors, make sure they are not leaking or clogged 3. Injector connections make sure contacts are good, very important that they make constant good contact. 4. Trigger contacts in the distributor, clean them with a clean piece of paper, don't file them. 5. Two clicks on ignition, listen for the FI relays one in back one up front. And listen for the pump. 6. Fuel pressure at 28 -30 psi. I'm sure many people will add to this. Hope it helps.
