If the VW part # on your ECU ends in "C", then the "C" pressure sensor is 
what you want.  But I *think* the "C" version was used for only about the 
first half of the '70 model year.  If your ECU has a VW part # ending in "D" 
(which I think applies to '71), I think you need a different pressure 
sensor.

Somebody correct me here if I'm wrong or if anyone has access to the 
matching part numbers.
