The gland nut is a very thin one with no pilot bearing. The drive plate does meet right up to the torque converter when installing the engine. This I am glad for, as I gather from previous discussions related to this gland nut that they are hard to come by. -----Original Message----- From: type3@vwtype3.org [mailto:type3@vwtype3.org] On Behalf Of Jim Adney Sent: Monday, July 01, 2002 9:09 PM To: type3@vwtype3.org Subject: Re: [T3] they can run well, Right? >On 1 Jul 2002, at 19:17, Jacob Hoffman wrote: >> I went back to the '71 computer, and an unadulterated pressure sensor. The first (I assume vw part number) is 311 906 051c. The second (I assume bosch number) is 0 280 100 007. I also have a 5th pressure sensor that has no vw number, but just has 0 280 100 009. I assume the PO that I got all of these parts from must have pillaged it from another bosch FI vehicle. I am running on an unmolested one that has the vw part number above. ------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <type3-off@vwtype3.org> For more help, see http://vwtype3.org/list/ </x-charset>
