It has been a while, but I finally got my car running nicely again. To recap, the problem started as a lack of power when the engine was cold. The problem got worse (as they tend to do); my mileage started to drop and eventually the car lacked power at all engine temps. Since the initial problem was dependent on the engine temperature, it was hard for me (a novice) to diagnose. I thought posting my problem and its solution might help someone else with a similar predicament. I replaced the Pressure Sensor and all is well again. The day I replaced it, the old PS was letting white smoke out of the tail pipe. I have not made it through a tank of gas yet, so my mileage has improved, although I don't know the specifics yet. And the engine runs at about 180-190 with the 90 degree heat we have in Chicago right now. So I wanted to thanks folks on the list who helped by answering my questions about the problem. Though it was VERY frustrating, I think I have gone through a majority of the major systems on the car so the next problem should be easier to tackle.
