The thing to look for on the parts list is the lock nut. I have one of each of the parts that VW sells for aircooled cars. One is a 111 part which uses no retaining rings and the other is a 113 part which uses a large steel snap ring and a small rubber band. This is the only part shown on the type 3 parts list. Both have holes which are significantly smaller than the ones I have taken off late tie rod ends. I have one of each, maybe some others from WCM, because I'm sure that I also bought from them to see what I got. - ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ------------------------------------------------------------------- Too much?
