[T3] help, i'm a girl.

hello,

i just got my first aircooled vw (71 fastback) and i
need some help.  i was driving along the other day and
my car just shut off.  its and electrical problem, i
think is some sort of electrical problem, but i dont
really know.  i tried to start the car after it
stalled and all i got was a loud clicking sound.  i
tried jumping it, and it started and died immediately.
 electronics still work.. dome light, dash, ect... any
input?
