The FI is strong and well behaved, but there is a steep learning curve if you're not patient and willing to study up on it and ask questions. It is likely that you will have trouble getting it running at first, as there was probably something wrong with it that led to its being parked, or maybe the only problem was the missing fender. If it's been sitting a long time, you should assume that the brakes will need to be completely rebuilt. The calipers will be frozen. There's lots of help available here on the FI and any other type 3 questions you may have. - ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ------------------------------------------------------------------- Search old messages on the Web!
