Hey - Couple questions about my newer (older) squareback - This is one of the models with the vents in the rear fender facing "backward". Does this seriously compromise the cooling system? Also, no vents in that rear-most pillar... these features, plus the fact that there's way more "stuff" in the engine compartment (heat exchangers, big air cleaner/ducting to carbs, mech. fuel pump, etc.) - should I just expect the '69 to run hotter than my '72, which has all this stuff removed? Also - missing a piece of trim on the hatch. On the right side, there's "automatic". On the left side, there's the standard "volkswagen", which sits perfectly horizontally - not the diagonal I'm used to. Then, there are 2 empty holes. What's supposed to go there? Thanks. --timmy '72 square '69 square w/AT Jax, FL ------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe? mailto:type3-request@vwtype3.org, Subject: unsubscribe
