And what gaskets do you have between the intake manifold, and the head?? If 
it is the metal one that comes in a gasket set,  for the dual port heads, 
that is wrong. The proper gasket for a T-3 dual port, whether it is carb of 
FI, is the plastic/fiber gasket about 3/16" thick with paper on each side.
