(politely, of course!) I have an oil temp gauge in my T1. On the hottest days, it never reads higher than 160F (which, corrected, is about 195F). If, for whatever reason, it suddenly reads 190F, I know that *something* is wrong. Like the damn insulation getting sucked off the firewall. Grr... I also have an ammeter and a tach mounted, but neither is hooked up yet. So much to do, so little time.... Gauges are useful, but the readings shouldn't be taken as the gospel truth, so to speak. IMO, of course. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe? mailto:type3-request@vwtype3.org, Subject: unsubscribe </x-flowed>
