Hmmm, then I'm not sure what the problem might be. Each email message 
also has an ID code which is transmitted along with it and reflected in replies 
to it; I suppose the threading might use that ID, which you would never see if 
you do your replies off the web.

Greg is most likely to know the REAL answer to this.
